Monthly Board Meeting
Board members Present:
The meeting was called to order at 7:00p.m. by Bill Parrillo, President. There were 61 members present and 34 proxies. The Secretary, Tracy Kubricky, introduced the four individuals running for the two board positions. They were: Susan Gabriel, Bill Boardman, Richard Kasper, and Curtis Mayes. A vote was taken for the three year position. While the ballots were counted the discussion was started regarding the vote on the bid for the twice per year mowing of the field to the left of the main entrance.
The vote was against the mowing of the field. A motion was made to mow the field once per year. The motion was seconded. A hand vote was taken and the motion failed to pass. A motion was made to never mow the field. It was not seconded. The field will be mowed every other year unless a change is voted on at a future meeting. A motion was made to have the field mowed in October or November. The motion was seconded. A hand vote was taken and the vote was passed.
Bill Boardman was elected to the three year term. The votes were tallied for the one year position for the board of directors; Richard Kasper was elected to the one year term.
A discussion was made on the rehabilitation of the field behind the water tower. A vote was taken and it was decided not to do anything behind the water tower.
A discussion of the budget was started. A motion was made to add the surplus in the budget to the improve common areas item. The motion was seconded. A vote was taken and it was approved. The budget was then voted on and approved.
The bylaw amendments could not be voted on because two thirds of the members were not voting. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 PM.
